Ibox and guides are the essential accessories for roller blinds, ensuring precise installation, smooth operation and a refined aesthetic result. Available in different configurations, they adapt to any interior space, combining strength, practicality and design.

Three models to meet every length and height requirement for your roller blind.

Ibox and Guides: the Technical Guide to Cento Tende Tecniche's Inspectable Headboxes

The Ibox headbox is the element that fully encloses and protects the blind’s roller, replacing a simple pelmet with an aluminium alloy 6060 profile closed on all sides. The advantage is twofold: on one hand, real protection of the mechanism and rolled fabric from dust, impact and direct light; on the other, a cleaner, more architectural result, with no visible roller. All Ibox models remain fully inspectable, ensuring easy access for maintenance.

To complete the system, each Ibox can be paired with either side guides or cable guides, depending on the fabric containment and sliding needs along the sides of the window — see the details of both options below. Three headbox models cover the dimensional needs of the entire Cento roller blind range, from compact formats to large surfaces.

IBOX 90: the headbox for MOLLA, MIN and BIG blinds

IBOX 90 is the inspectable aluminium alloy 6060 headbox, compatible with the MOLLA, MIN and BIG models. It supports spring operation (MOLLA), chain operation (MIN and BIG), or winding gear and motor (BIG only). White PVC accessories, available on request in black and grey. Maximum dimensions W300 x H300 cm.

IBOX 114: the headbox for MAX blinds

IBOX 114 is dedicated to the MAX model, with the same inspectable aluminium alloy 6060 headbox and winding gear and motor operation. Maximum dimensions W400 x H400 cm, to cover even the largest glazed surfaces in the range.

IBOX 150 CS: the recessed headbox for BIG blinds

IBOX 150 CS is the recessed headbox designed exclusively for the BIG model, built for total integration into plasterboard false ceilings. The white painted aluminium profile (RAL 9010) fully conceals the roller, leaving only light and fabric visible for a floating blind effect with no visible frames or headboxes — the ideal solution for high-end residential and contract environments. Maximum dimensions W300 x H300 cm.

Side guides: aluminium containment for Ibox 90 and Ibox 114

Side guides accompany the fabric along the sides of the window, improving blackout performance and the blind’s stability while sliding. Two versions are available: Guide B, with side fixing (55×22.5 mm profile), and Guide C, with side and wall fixing (80×24 mm profile, complete with clip anchors). Both are available in White RAL 9010, Black RAL 9005 and Satin finishes, with maximum dimensions matching the paired Ibox headbox (W300xH300 cm for Ibox 90, W400xH400 cm for Ibox 114).

Cable guides: the discreet solution for MIN, BIG and MAX blinds

Cable guides offer minimal, discreet side containment, ideal when visual impact on the window needs to be kept to a minimum. Guide A, for Ibox 90 (MIN and BIG blinds), uses a 1 mm PVC-coated steel cable for indoor use, with ceiling, wall or floor mounting. Guide E, for Ibox 114 (MAX blinds), uses a 4 mm steel cable, suitable for outdoor use in Class 2, with a 40 mm diameter end cap fitted with a cable stop.

Available finishes

IBOX 90 and IBOX 114 are available in Gloss White RAL 9010, Black RAL 9005 and Satin Aluminium finishes. IBOX 150 CS, given its recessed, fully integrated design, is available in Gloss White RAL 9010 only.
