Blish Curtain: the Technical Guide to Cento's Collection

BLISH is the vertical-band curtain that integrates two fabrics into a single solution: one filtering at 10%, allowing a glimpse of the outside, and one filtering at 95%, almost fully screening the view while still letting soft, diffused light through. Rotating the vertical bands shifts gradually from one to the other, adjusting light continuously rather than in steps. Thanks to the absence of floor guides, access is unobstructed from any point along the curtain — a useful feature in spaces that require barrier-free accessibility.

BLISH, BLISH SP and BLISH LINE: which version to choose

BLISH is the version with the most control options: cord and chain (up to L450 x H320 cm), wand (up to L300 x H320 cm), or motor for automated control. BLISH SP is dedicated exclusively to wand operation, with dimensions up to L300 x H320 cm. BLISH LINE offers the same functionality as the classic version — both wand and cord-and-chain, up to L450 x H320 cm — with a sleeker aesthetic line, suited to those seeking an even more discreet profile. Minimum width is 60 cm across all three versions.

Cord and chain, or wand: how the control works

In the cord-and-chain version, the cord opens and closes the curtain, while the chain rotates the vertical bands to adjust light. In the wand version, horizontal movement opens and closes the curtain, while rotating the wand adjusts the bands — a single gesture for both functions.

Mounting and accessories

BLISH is installed on the ceiling (as standard) or on the wall (optional), and can be completed with a dedicated aluminium mounting bracket and a full mechanical profile for the bands. Every curtain is made to measure, with finished panels and a fabric weight bar included; stacking is standard on the control side but can be requested on the opposite side at no extra charge.
